French and Surf Course for Juniors

Program includes:
- 15 French lessons per week
- 10 Surf lessons per week
- All equipment provided - wetsuits and surfboards
- Full board, shared room, host family accommodation
- Transfers from/to Biarritz airport/train station
Location
This French course (13-17 years old) takes place in a French school on a separate site to our adult French school in Biarritz. This ensures that students learn French with other teenagers of a similar age from a wide range of nationalities. The school is located in a beautiful area of Biarritz, 5-10 minutes walking distance from the sea front, beaches and town centre.
Our school in Biarritz also offers a French and Surfing Course for adults, which runs throughout the year
CourseThere are 15 French lessons per week which are held in the mornings. On the first day all students take a level test and are placed into a group according to their level of French. All teachers are fully qualified and experienced in the teaching of French as a foreign language.
Accommodation
Twin room accommodation is provided with French host families. This allows students to be totally immersed in the French language and culture. Rooms are shared with another student of the school with a similar age. On the first day of lessons, all host families take the students to the school.
Level of supervisionStudents have free time in the evenings (until 11.30pm during the week and 12.30 at weekends).
ActivitiesThere are 10 Surf lessons held each week in the afternoons at the famous Plage de la cote des Basques in Biarritz. All surf lessons are supervised by fully qualified professional surf instructors. All equipment (wetsuits and surfboards) is provided
TransfersAirport transfers are available from Biarritz airport/train station and are included in the price.
SuitabilityThis program is ideal for teenagers (13-17 years old) who want not only to learn French but also to learn how to surf on one of Europe’s finest surfing beaches.
